Back to Bali — Camera in Hand

What’s Happening

Pete and Jane are flying out to Bali on October 3rd for a few weeks of unstructured exploration. No rigid itineraries, no must-see checklists—just time based mostly in Sanur with a couple of days in Ubud, and plenty of freedom to follow the day wherever it leads.

Why Bali?

For Pete, Bali isn’t about chasing the spectacular. It’s about the everyday moments that unfold naturally:

• Opening a warung in the morning
• Offerings being placed outside doorways
• Kids heading off to school
• Conversations on the side of the road
• Quiet moments of someone watching the world go by

The beauty of Bali is that everyday life is happening everywhere, and that’s exactly where Pete’s camera finds its best stories.

The Mission

This trip comes with a specific photographic mission: finding and documenting small coffee shops owned by husband-and-wife teams. These intimate, family-run spaces have stories worth telling, and Pete plans to capture them through both photographs and written articles.
